Ross Gilker

President

Ross is the owner and President of Gilker McRae Ltd. He leads the overall management and business development of the company and he provides transition and consulting services. Ross has prior experience in business ownership in the career transition and franchising industry which he readily shares with those interested in pursuing entrepreneurship.

With qualifications and certifications in several psychometric assessment tools he has assisted many individuals to find their passion and to identify their ideal work. Ross holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and has training in various psychometric tools.

After a stroke in 2007, Ross has dedicated himself to raising money for various charities through his cycle club, CycleTherapy. This group has supported the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer, MS Bike Ride and more recently has sponsored their own annual 100 km ride with funds going to support KidSport and the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured. For his commitment to community service he was honored with the Human Resources Institute of Alberta’s Community Champion Award in 2013.

Eileen Dooley, ACC

Vice President

Eileen Dooley is Vice President of Gilker McRae and oversees aspects of management, operations, marketing and business development. She is a certified coach, helping her clients embrace opportunities to redefine career objectives aligned with personal and professional goals and expectations. Combining coaching with her additional skills in mediation, negotiation and communications, Eileen provides clients with balanced perspectives that help them realize their opportunities and potential.  She is also part of the career transition, and executive/leadership coaching team.

Professionally trained through the Coaches Training Institute and certified as a coach through the International Coaches Federation, Eileen spent 15 years as a communications professional, providing counsel to senior-level management and internal teams. She has worked in corporate, non-profit and post-secondary environments, focusing on team leadership, program management, strategic communications, public and government affairs, media relations and internal communications.

Eileen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba, a Diploma in Corporate Communications from Centennial College, and a Certificate in Strategic Management from the University of Calgary. She is a member of the International Coaches Federation and the Human Resources Institute of Alberta.  Eileen is also a periodic contributor to the Globe and Mail and other news outlets across Canada, as well as a presenter at various organizations for workplace and career issues.

She enjoys running, cycling, hiking, reading and thinking about her next travel spot.

Hailey Adlard

Senior Consultant

Hailey is an accomplished career consultant and skilled workshop facilitator, who brings great energy and enthusiasm to her clients. As the lead consultant overseeing the client lifecycle, she conducts a variety of workshops for clients, such as career planning, effective interviewing, and maximizing Linked-In for job search. Hailey holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba.

With her background in Executive Recruitment Hailey couples her understanding of hiring process employers with the practical and effective coaching and tips to assist in creating a highly tailored and effective job search for her clients. Hailey is part of the career transition and workplace climate review team.

She is also a dog-lover and in her spare time each week volunteers at the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) where she walks the dogs and sometimes foster dogs in her home.  Both she and her AARCS “clients” love working together. 


Cam McRae, CPHR

Senior Consultant

Cam has been providing career consultation and executive career and coaching services for more than 30 years and welcomes the opportunity to connect with people through a journey of change and renewal. He is Coach U trained and certified in Behavioural Descriptive Interviewing, Forte Communication Styles and Psychometrics MBTI delivery. Cam holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Calgary and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources.

Cam is first and foremost a very proud family man. He and his wife have two children who provide the focus, motivation, frustration and humour, in their lives. Cam is also an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. He enjoys any opportunity to get involved in the outdoors whether it’s fly fishing, golfing or coaching his children’s sports teams.

Gerard Alberts, M.Ed.

Psychologist / Coach / Consultant    

Gerard is a registered psychologist and holds coaching and assessment certifications. Over the past 25 years, he has pursued professional and leadership opportunities consistent with his values, principles and ethics to support the development of people and workplaces.  Gerard is part of our career transition and executive/leadership coaching team.

While leading a large team of professionals serving numerous large employers across the province, Gerard had the opportunity to discover and help resolve some of the most difficult HR and workplace concerns. Subsequently, he applied his knowledge and skills in the executive search business, then as Alberta Director for City University of Seattle where he was senior faculty for several years. Gerard is a member and Past Chair of the Calgary Industrial/Organizational Psychology Group, with broad experience as a member of several associations, boards, and committees. He understands the needs and challenges of business leaders and career-minded people working together to develop effective teams in today's tumultuous marketplace. 

Gerard holds coaching and assessment certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership and Birkman International. More recently, he was recruited by the Niagara Institute of the Conference Board of Canada as one of their executive coaching team in Western Canada.

A musician, who enjoys all opportunities to get together with family and friends, Gerard enjoys hiking and biking to work off his home cooked gourmet meals.

Pauline Greenidge

Senior Consultant

Pauline brings over 15 years of corporate Human Resources experience working with all levels of management. She has been privileged to work across several industries including education, professional services, manufacturing and oil and gas. She brings outside expert objectivity to help executives and employees maintain employee engagement, and execute on critical business goals and objectives. 

Pauline is the author of A Grand Dinner Party - Setting the Table for Employee Engagement Through Mergers and Acquisitions and also speaks on Human Resources topics. 
Pauline holds certifications in Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Insights Discovery and she works in our career transition team.  She's passionate about helping others discover and pursue their career goals.

Pauline holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Lethbridge and holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation from the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Alberta.


Diane Bogner

Office Manager

With more than 20 years in the career transition and office management field, Diane brings significant knowledge of office management and administration. Customer and client service, accounting and vendor management are some of the many areas Diane supports. Diane has a legal secretary diploma and has previously worked in both government and accounting management sectors. She displays tact, empathy and confidentiality in dealing with internal and external clients.

Diane loves the beach and her time in Nelson, BC, especially her early morning walks on the golf course.

Joanne Domke

Senior Administrator

Joanne takes great joy in greeting new clients and orienting them to the services available at Gilker McRae.  She’s the first person clients meet when they walk in the door and she’ll go out of her way to make them feel welcome.

Joanne’s role has her supporting clients, colleagues and companies and she always adapts effectively to the demands and uniqueness of the career management and coaching aspects of our business. She is an organizer and pays great attention to detail and shows great tact in dealing with sensitive situations. Joanne is always thinking ahead, being responsive, inquisitive, pleasant and well able to develop relationships in a relationship business.

She has a love of the outdoors, specifically anywhere near an ocean. Gardening, running, hiking and spending time with others is how Joanne enjoys her personal time.
