Ross, I wanted to take a quick moment and thank you for the exemplary services that I have received from your firm over the past couple of weeks. Trying to run a business over someone’s loss is a very tough thing to do and I am not sure if I could have been in better hands. The compassion, care and professional assistance that was provided was beyond compare, and something I will remember for a long time.
From the beginning to the end of my experience with Wendy, she was very supportive and understanding of my situation. She made herself available to help me work through the process of finding my next career step. She is very attune to her client’s needs and knowing the best way to support them. In the beginning, I wasn’t sure what value I would get out of having a career consultant, but by the end of my transition program, I could not imagine going through that situation without the support and guidance of all the staff. I learned a lot through the process and am grateful for the experience.
Eileen assisted me with a transition I experienced in 2014. She was insightful, knowledgeable, thorough and above all compassionate and understanding. Even though it was her “job”, I didn’t feel like a client, more like a friend. She listened, empathized and also pushed me to look at this as an opportunity to do more of the things I enjoyed doing in my career. She made a challenging situation much more personal.
Wendy was assigned to coach me during outplacement as I was looking for a new job after I received a severance package. As a senior level IT leader, in a downturn market, I had a lot of questions about my resume, how to engage a new network, social media, relocation to a new city, etc. Right from the start, Wendy created a very calming atmosphere, and slowed things down for me. Although I thought time was of the essence, Wendy coached me that there is a systematic way to begin looking for new opportunities. Wendy is an expert networker, and helped me get started right away with some very good contacts to begin with. She is always extremely supportive, even when I don’t think very much progress has been made on my job search. I know that even several months later, if I have a question she would be very accommodating to try and help me out. Wendy is truly a positive influence for all people in any transition in their lives.
Entering the job market after 19 years with the same company, I was obviously in need of career guidance; I couldn’t have found better council than Cam McRae. Cam provided the guidance I needed to determine my strengths and weaknesses and how to apply them to finding a new career. He showed me how to tap into my memories to identify my accomplishments and my imagination to sell their benefits to prospective employers. Having worked with Cam, I now have clear targets, a well-developed network of contacts, and I’m anticipating starting a new career that is well aligned with my values and strengths.
